Katie Evans, her friends and family are back for one final summer of fun and mystery running their small town newspaper, The Daily Mischief. The local Free River mining company is set to shut down, meaning hundreds of locals will lose their jobs for good. When suddenly…there’s gold in them hills! And everyone in town is cashing in! It’s up to Katie and company to unearth the truth, and expose a scandal that will rock the foundation of Free River for generations! One last golden summer when secrets are revealed, and the lives of these friends are changed forever. Join Katie, Lisa, Alice, Annie, Doug Dawson, Jonah, (Deputy) Chief Neely, and the rest of Free River as they embark on one last summer of adventure!

Calgary Young People’s Theatre is pleased to present:
STORYTELLING at the CALGARY INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL.
After the success of last’s years presentation of Tales from the CYPT performed by youth ages 14-17, CYPT is extremely excited to be able to be back on the Festival site for the 2012 Calgary International Children’s Festival. This year we are expanding the opportunity to include youth ages 10-17. Participants will be led through a collaborative process of adapting and creating stories to be presented to audiences of all ages on the outdoor site.
