Calgary Young Peoples Theatre is proud to be returning to the Vertigo Studio Theatre, with the beloved Roald Dahl classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. From December 9 to 13 our talented cast of young actors bring Charlie Bucket, Agustus Gloop, Mike TV, Veruca Salt and Violet Beauregard to life as they explore the mysterious and wonderful world of Willy Wonkas Chocolate Factory.
Since our first production in 1992, Calgary Young People's Theatre has been giving future theatre stars the chance to shine in professional productions. All of our actors are under 17, and have been coached by talented actors and directors from the Calgary theatre community.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is one of the most beloved books of all time. CYPT's cast and creative team have truly embraced the magical world Dahl has created. This production is one of the most ambitious CYPT has ever mounted and will be truly unforgettable.
